In the far future, humans have colonized hundreds of worlds throughout the galaxy. Robots have been in use for centuries and millions have been discarded over the years and littered across the cosmos, becoming a potential problem for mankind. Luckily, the Planet Defenders protect us, gathering up and dismantling these robotic remnants before they become a real danger! Equipped with the most powerful radar system ever created, they can detect intruders and use a laser beam to destroy them immediately.
However, a number of these derelict robots have suddenly recharged and appear to be operating outside their original programming! Because one of the highest principles of robotics is that robots cannot harm one another, the Planet Defenders cannot simply destroy them. As the leading scientists in robot technology, you're tasked with directing the Planet Defenders to catch the derelict robots so that you can figure out how and why their programming was corrupted. Maybe robotic intelligence has already evolved beyond what we've anticipated...
