This year is packed with more workshops, focus groups, round tables, and demos than ever before. 2017 stands as our largest show to date, and you don’t want to miss out on the fun! Registration for the Open House is due Friday, July 28th.
What is the Open House? The Open House is Alliance Game Distributor’s annual trade show held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Open House is scheduled for the weekend of September 8-10, 2017. Since the Open House is a closed gaming-industry event, only Alliance Game Distributor & Diamond Comic retailers will be able to attend. This event provides a unique opportunity for retail store owners, manufacturers, and vendor partners to network and interact among peers in this industry we all know and love. What should I expect? You can expect to participate in a slew of activities while attending the Open House. On Friday, we’ll open registration and host our very first Demo Night. At the Demo Night you’ll participate in multiple demo opportunities with our sponsors in a casual environment. On Saturday, you can expect a full day of workshops and focus groups; with time in between to explore Fort Wayne’s local eateries. Saturday evening we’ll host dinner and our second Demo Night. Sunday begins with a sponsored breakfast, additional workshop, lunch, and ends with our highly-anticipated vendor exhibit hall. How do I register? Retailers may register two different ways. 1. Online Registration - Retailers can register online by logging into their Alliance account on the Retailer-Services website. Click the yellow banner at the top of the page to launch the registration form. You may make changes to your registration information until the July 28th deadline. 2. Printed Registration - Retailers can print, fill out, scan, and email their completed registration form to their Alliance Account Representative. Alliance Account Representatives will accept retailers registrations through July 28th. Mayfair Games is pleased to continue its support of Alliance Game Distributors and once again presents its popular D2D program at the Alliance Open House in Fort Wayne Indiana, September 9th. This session will introduce Bärenpark, Caverna:Cave v. Cave and Run Bunny Run (not yet announced!) to participants, while teaching them how to demo and sell each game, and present additional materials that will support product sales. Saturday's session can accommodate sixty-four (64) retail stores. Each registered retailer may bring one additional staff member to participate in the demo (though only one box will be distributed to each store after the show). If you have multiple stores, you will need to register each store separately if you wish to have more than two representatives attend the session.
